Justice Pale Ale "Take #1"

Following the Justice Pale Ale experiment post here is my take #1 on the recipe.

4# Marris Otter
4# 2 Row
2.5# Pilsner Malt (Domestic)
.5# Honey
#1 Flaked Barley (boil)

For hops I am starting with Simcoe and Chinook.  They will be as follows

1 oz Chinook @ 60
.5 oz of Chinook @ 20
.5 oz of Simcoe @ 20
.5 oz of Simcoe @ flame out
1 oz of Simcoe Dry Hop day 4

For the mash temp I am going a little higher than normal. I plan to convert at 151 for 60 mins.  The boil will also be 60 mins.

The yeast will be WLP002 British Ale yeast.

UPDATE:  I brewed this on Friday the 11th of Feb. 2011.  The OG came in at 1.057.  It was expected to be 1.054.

OG 1.057
FG 1.027

ABV% 3.91
Cal per Pint 263

The yeast did not finish out...but at the kegging transfer it tasted really good, so we will have to wait for the final drinking notes.
